Dean Slaby leads the KSW team with over 30 years of commercial construction experience. His career in construction began when he was 13, working summers for his father’s construction company in Staples, Minnesota. Since moving to the Madison area in 1992, he has personally managed over $100 million in construction projects, winning the respect, confidence and loyalty of his clients. Within the last year, Dean has also obtained a realtor’s and brokers license. With that he has begun a new entity called Slaby & Associates, www.slabyandassociates.com. Dean lives in Verona, WI, with his wife Melanie and their children Cassie, Zach, and Rachel. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, ice fishing and hunting at the cabin.
Doug Slaby brings 30 years of commercial construction experience in industrial and retail/service projects to the KSW team. Also moving here in 1992, he progressed to general superintendent and later senior project manager. His role here at KSW Construction, is to supervise project managers and day-to-day operations, set the groundwork for a growing team to handle an increasing workload. As vice president, he focuses on managing a good team, building strong, lasting relationships with clients, sub-contractors and vendors. Doug and his wife Amy also own and operate the Check out Doug’s other business! Sports Enhancement Facilities (SEA) in Stoughton, WI as well as the Verona Athletic Center (VAC) in Verona, WI. Doug lives in Stoughton, WI, with his wife Amy and their children Matt and Troy. In his spare time he enjoys hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and watching his boys at their sporting events. Doug also works along side Dean as a Partner of Slaby and Associates.
